To begin our time together, we will immerse ourselves in the gong’s powerful and surprising vibrations. Effortlessly leaving your mind behind, you will enjoy a supportive sense of calm, wellness, and regeneration. The gong will meditate you, as you simply relax and absorb the healing sounds into every cell of your body.
The salt bowl ceremony is a powerful ritual to anchor and expand your intentions into the world. Salt is essential to life and is known to absorb energy. It has been a part of magical ceremonies and rituals in many cultures around the world.
We’ll gather in a sacred circle and each person will have a chance to add offerings from nature (oils, herbs, flowers, gems, etc) along with their intentions to the salt bowl. For example, you might add dried lavender to the bowl to invite in serenity and grace, or you might sprinkle in some rose petals for beauty and love. Or, maybe some chili pepper seeds to add some spice to your life. Each person will take home a jar of blessed salt.
Space is limited to twelve people, so sign up early to reserve a spot.

a cushy mat to lay on, along with a blanket, pillow or bolster so you can be comfortable during the gong meditation

We’re going to start on Sunday, 2/23 with the new moon. For eight days, we’ll meet energetically for about 10-15 minutes as a group to balance and clear the chakras, beginning with the root and ending with the 8th chakra on Sunday, March 1st. We will clear our individual chakras by sending intention to clear the earth’s chakras. As we give, we also receive. A preview of this process is given in my post Connecting with the Earth’s Chakras - Throat.
It’s ideal if you can connect in with the group at 8 am. (If you can’t make that time, you can always connect in at your convenience.) We will harness the power of 8 to visit and bless each of our chakras.
On Sunday, March 8th, we’ll move to a weekly virtual intention setting for eight weeks, ending on April 26th. We will rotate through each of the group members, so everyone will be on the receiving end of the healing intention. You’ll find, however, that you are truly blessed to give, as well as receive.
We’ll communicate via the free phone app Voxer.
Once the 9 weeks are completed, you are invited to keep your Power of 8 group going….

Three years ago, I received the 9 Rites of the Munay-Ki in a workshop led by Christine Hart and Cathy Brett. It felt like a homecoming, similar to the way I felt when I first received the Reiki attunements. The Rites come to us from the Earthkeepers, indigenous people who have kept these sacred traditions alive in preparation for the time when we are ready to create a new vision for the earth. Each morning, for 9 days, you will receive the energetic transmission of one of the rites. The rite will then be available for you to “download” into your energy field. The download process is a simple fire ceremony that you can do in a few minutes with a candle. The process will work similarly to the way you get notifications for software updates on your phone or computer. You can choose when to incorporate the new software. So if you’re having a super busy week, you can wait until you have free time and download several transmissions at once. The rites will be available to you for 36 days, following the workshop.
Along with the Rite, you’ll also receive each day an exercise that will help to acquaint you with the new energies that are being made available to you. I will also pull an Oracle card (from the Mystical Shaman deck) that can offer additional insights to your personal journey. The following is a brief description of the nine rites:
Healer’s Rite - Connects you to a lineage of luminous healers from the past, who come to assist in your personal transformation. Awakens the healing power in your hands so that everyone you touch is blessed. These luminous ones work in our sleep to heal the wounds of the past and of our ancestors.
Bands of Power - Five luminous belts are woven into your luminous energy field (LEF) for protection. They act as filters, breaking down any negative energy that comes toward you into one of the five elements. These energies then feed your LEF instead of making you ill.
Harmony Rite - Transmission of the 7 Archetypes into the chakras. First you receive serpent, jaguar, hummingbird and eagle into your four lower chakras; next you receive three archetypes: the Keeper of the Lower World (our unconscious), the Keeper of the Middle World (our waking world), and the Protector of the Upper World (our super-conscious).
Seer’s Rite – Extra-cerebral pathways of light are installed to connect the visual cortex with your third eye and heart chakra. This awakens the “inner seer” and your ability to perceive the invisible world of energy and Spirit.
Daykeeper’s Rite - You connect to a lineage of masters from the past. Daykeepers are able to call on the ancient altars to heal and bring balance to the earth, call on the sun to rise each day, and bring humans into harmony with Mother Earth. They are the midwives, herbalists and curanderas. This rite helps you begin to heal your inner feminine, step beyond fear, and practice peace.
Wisdomkeeper’s Rite - You connect to a lineage of luminous teachers from the past and the future. This rite is associated with the snow-capped mountains, perhaps a distant memory of our ancestors from the Himalayas. This rite helps you to begin to heal your inner masculine, step outside of time, become steeped in the medicine teachings, and taste infinity.
Earthkeeper’s Rite - This rite connects you to the archangels that are stewards of all life on Earth. This rite connects you to the stars, and to the sun, our local star. It helps you learn the ways of dreaming the world into being.
Starkeeper’s Rite - This rite anchors you safely to the time after the great change, set to occur at or around 2012. Your physical body begins to evolve into homo luminous, the aging process is slowed down, your DNA is re-informed, and you become more resistant to disease.
Creator Rite - Awakens the Creator-light within and brings forth a sense of stewardship for all creation, from the smallest grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies in the universe. Once attained only through direct transmission from Spirit, it is now possible to transmit from one person to another.
The workshop is open to 9 participants. The cost is $18/rite * 9 = $162. If you feel called to participate, but can’t afford the fee at this time, there is one scholarship available for $81.

In the first 30 minutes, Paula will teach you techniques that will empower your reiki practice. For the remaining 90 minutes, you'll have the chance to both give and receive reiki from other practitioners. It's a great opportunity to build your confidence and strengthen your connection to the flow of healing energy. You'll also get to know other people who are deepening their understanding and practice of reiki. And, best of all, you'll get a treatment!

The total solar eclipse on August 21st creates an opportunity to reset the energies across the heartland of America. The Seraphim angels offer three energetic transmissions to help you clear, integrate and restore your relationship to the cycles of growth and transformation. This Reiki 1 class is for parent (or grandparent) and pre-teen. Reiki is a wonderful way for highly sensitive young people to learn to consciously connect to source energy, balance their own energies, and be mindful of their energetic boundaries. This will be an experiential and fun learning day!
